In this project we have developed a CBIR search engine working based on image content, which means is in addition to keyword search, it finds images based on similarity to an input image.

The main purpose of developing this image search engine was to build an engine according to the characteristics of the Persian language. Popular search engines like Google have limitations in Persian word semantic, for example some keywords in Persian may not be meaningful for these search engines.

This search engine has been launched on 400 million Persian web pages and has yielded satisfactory results.
